Product and Care
For information about how to change or adjust your watch strap, set the time and care for your wristwatch click here.
Like anything of value, vegetable tanned leather needs care. It’s important to avoid letting your leather watch strap get wet, especially in the first two months. As you wear it in, it will become flexible and better at repelling water but be sure to wipe it down quickly if it does get wet.
To keep your strap in perfect condition, apply a leather oil to the outer strap every couple of months.
Over time, a well cared for Barrow watch strap will darken in colour and deepen in tone achieving a rich and unique patina that is as individual as you are.

We care a great deal about the artisans and makers that create our wristwatches. We want to be sure that our supply chain is honest, that our makers are paid well, with good working conditions. And, that you can buy from Barrow with a clear conscience.
The expected battery life is 2-3 years, however this depends on factors such as temperature and humidity
If your watch has stopped working it is likely that the battery needs replacing. Please take the watch to a watchmaker or jeweler to have the battery replaced. If the watch still is not working, please see our warranty and returns information below.
We spent a long time looking for a watch partner that could manufacture our wristwatches ethically. Our chosen factory has passed the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA).
SMETA is one of the most widely-used audit formats in the world and leads improvements in ethical and responsible business practices (such as employee age, wage and working hours) in global supply chains.
Our attention to ethical practices will continue with all future Barrow creations.
