Barrow Cortona Automatic watch.

There’s something romantic about an automatic wristwatch. Like an old Mustang or a grandfather clock, they personify masculinity, reliability and classic charm.

When designing Barrow’s debut automatic timepiece, Daniel was inspired by mid-century simplicity, his love of motorsports and classic craftsmanship.

Looking at the pared-back face, featuring date window and interval time, you could be fooled into thinking the Cortona was an everyday Quartz but when you reverse the watch you are given a window to the elegant Swiss-made Self-winding ETA 2681 mechanism, featuring 25 jewels pumping at 28’800 vibrations per hour to keep you on time.

The Cortona is light enough on your wrist to be comfortable, yet heavy enough to know you a wearing something of value.

The double domed sapphire crystal and solid stainless-steel case are durable and hardwearing. The pair of vegetable-tanned Italian leather straps included with your Cortona give you the versatility we pride ourselves on and the price point makes our first automatic obtainable to anyone with a flavour for classic luxe.

With an automatic timepiece, you are connected to your time. When you move you cause time to move forward with you. Setting in motion the vibrations from your wrist to your watch movement keeping the seconds ticking in your day.

"I'm so happy I learned about Barrow. This watch is perfect and I plan on wearing it every day for years"!
